Photo's in folders

Is it possible to move an individual photo out of a folder into another
folder? I am trying to organise my photo's in 'My pictures' and just don't
know how to do this - if it is possible even! I went into Explore, but it
only shows the folders, not the individual photo's within those folders. Can
anyone help?

Open My Pictures. Click on Folders at the top to reveal your Windows folders
on the left. Right click on the picture and drag it to the folder you want.
Let go of the mouse key and you have the choice of Move or Copy.

Use Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) to open a folder. To open a
folder, double-click on the folder. The folder will open. If there is
nothing inside the folder, you will see blank space.

There are several ways to move a photo (or any file) from one folder to
another folder. Here's one way: Click on the photo once (to select it).
Open the Edit menu and select Cut. Now open the destination folder,
again go to the Edit menu and select Paste.

For more ways to move pictures, open the Help and Support Center (Start
Help and Support) and in the Search box type: move a file or folder.
Click on the green arrow to the right of the Search box.

To add to Leonard's comments.

To create a folder you select File, New, Folder. Also if you right click
on a folder or folder you can use the Rename option to change the name.

For photos I have two folders. -As Imported and As Amended. That way I
do not confuse edited copies with originals. It helps if you want to
start again.

Hope this helps.
