Photo Story 3 - Motion & Duration

I'm new to this programme and can't work out how to apply a Motion & Duration
setting to a complete batch of imported photos without having to enter the
details for each one individually. I'm hoping I've missed something obvious!

There is no batch option.

Thanks. Is that really so? If I am creating a 250 photo slide show to
burn to DVD does this mean that I have to apply Motion & Duration settings to
each individual photo? Looking at it another way, if I decide that I don't
want to apply Motion settings to the slide show is there any way I can just
set a Transition effect and a slide duration to the complete show (batch)?

Thanks, JeremyB

Outstanding, Mark!

Is it possible to do something similar to set defaults for font, color,
size, transition, and transition duration...? ;-)

Many thanks Mark for your TweakPS application. It works well for batch
sizes of maybe 50 - 80 photos, but if I use it with a batch size of 200, when
I try to open the file I get a message - 'PhotoStory cannot open the selected
project because it is corrupted'. I've tried this several times with and
without using your app, and it seems to be a repeatable problem. Any ideas?

While calling on your assistance, are you able to advise on how I can put
more than 300 photos on a DVD? PS3 allows only up to 300 photos per project,
and if I burn that project to DVD and then try to burn another project to the
same DVD, it tell me that the DVD is not available. I assume that the burn
programme I'm using (Sonic DVD for PS3) is finalising the disc after the
first burn, but I can't find any option to leave the disc open for subsequent
recording.

Thanks, Jeremy

I will look into the 200 batch size issue. Re: Photostory only allowing 300
max photos, many people get around this by doing smaller stories, then
combining them with Movie Maker.

You are correct. The Sonic add-in is incapable of burning more than one
story to a DVD.

You will need to use another program to combine .wmv's of storys--like
Movie Maker or NeroVision Express.
