Personal Folders twice listed

My Folder list shows two 'Personal Folders', once under the 'Outloo
Today - [Personal Folders]' heading, and once under a 'Persona
Folders' heading. It is two views on the same outlook.pst file.

This is not nice, and I would like to get rid of one of the views. Whe
I execute the 'Outlook Personal Folders Backup' optio

the pfbackup program also shows two 'Personal Folders'.

I have seen several posts by other users suffering from this problem
None of these threads seem to provide a solution to this problem. Bot
folders have a red cross over the close option when bein
right-clicked.

The outlook.pst file is about 6Mbyte and my outlook is getting rea
slow. I hope that this would improve if I could somehow remove one o
the two entries.

(BTW, I'm running outlook2000sp3 on a win xp pro box

Hi
Have you tried going into Controkl Panel, then in "Mail"
and seeing if the "personal folders" file is listed in
there ? Might be worth having a look to see if you can
remove it from there? What errors do you get if this
doesnt work?
