Permission Inheritance Destroyed

Hi

I am running Win2k Pro and IIS 5.0. Simply opening then closing an
Access2000 mdb both removes Win2k accounts I set for it, and its inheritance
of the permissions associated with those accounts (the 'Allow inheritable
permissions from parent to propagate to this object' checkbox goes from
checked to unchecked).

Any help and URLs for related articles/fixes greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Check the permissions on the parent folder. If you have compact on close
set for the database, a new file is created in the process, and that new
file gets its permissions from the parent folder.
