Data Access Page (security problem)

Problem Description: I created a website using MS Access
2000 Data Access Pages so that users can make changes to
the database via the internet. The website is hosted on a
secure server and uses verisign certificates to make the
secure connection. I have 2 problems with my data access
pages when they are hosted from this server.

#1) The first problem occurs the first time the data
access page is viewed. I receive the following error on
the page when viewing it in the browser (after being
published to a web server) for the first time:
"Data Access Pages has detected that your IE security
settings will not allow you to access data from a site
considered to be insecure.

In order to access the data contained within the Data
Access Page, you need to:

1. Start IE

2. Choose Internet Options from the Tools menu

3. Click on the "Security" Tab

4. Click on the "Trusted Sites" icon

5. Click on the "Sites..." button

6. Uncheck the "Require server verification (https) for
all sites in the zone" checkbox

7.
Add "https://ekms.san.csc.com/CUAS/review_group_titles.htm"
as a trusted server

8. OK the dialog

9. Try to open the Data Access Page

If you still cannot access the data, it is possible that
one of the following problems exist.

You do not have security permissions to the server on
which the data resides.
You do not have security permissions to the data
referenced in the mail.
You should check with the Data Access Page owner to
determine if you need other permissions.

After adding this to my trusted sites, the page opens but
I then have problem #2 (see below). Is there any way to
avoid my users from seeing this message and having to add
this site to their trusted sites?

#2) I am not able to open the data access pages on ANY pc
via the internet. I ensured that the PC had Internet
Explorer 5.5 installed and that the Microsoft Office Web
Components were installed (Office XP version).

After opening the data access pages on the PC using the
internet I receive the following error:

"Data Provider could not be initialized" and it is
followed by "The Microsoft Jet Database Engine cannot open
the file '\\EKMS\Database\CUAS reqts 6-12-03.mdb'. It is
already opened exclusively by another user or you do not
have permission to view its data." The database was not
opened on any other machine (including the server where
the site is hosted) and the user does have the appropriate
permissions to be able to access the database.

Is there anything that can be done to solve these problems?

I am using a Windows 2000 Professional PC to develop the
website. I have Access 2002 installed on my PC along with
FrontPage 2002, which I used to manage the pages and
permissions. The website is running on a Windows 2000
Server the has IIS 5.0 installed. I do all editing of data
access pages & database on my PC and the changes are saved
to the server. Please let me know if there is any further
information that is needed.
