If you already have the reader installed, check the Properties of Adobe Reader.
Launch Adobe, click on File | Preferences | General. Verify that "Web Browser
Integration" is enabled.
If that's okay, I'd suspect a corrupted plug-in for IE. If suspect,
uninstall/reinstall the Adobe Reader.
