PDF files don't open after SP2

After installing SP2 the new security in my IE6 browser
won't allow the Adobe Acrobat Add-in. This causes PDF
file to not open. I can't change the security because it
indicates that it is an Administrator function. (I am the
Administrator)

Reinstall Adobe it will reinstall the plugin with IE6.0

I reinstalled Acrobat but it made no difference. The
ActiveX Control (Adobe Acrobat)is still diabled.

I followed the recommendations indicated below and my system was already
configured as it indicated. Is there something else i can try?

i followed the instructions on the bottom part of the page, deleting the
line in HKEY......., and it worked for me, exact same problem before, now
works like before.

When I try to run Regedit, it comes up for a second or two and then the
window disappears. Any idea how to keep it going?
