I haul them around all the time. Just place it in the back seat and
put the seat belts on it. It might not survive a crash, but hell I might
not either.

Didn't you recently post this question? If you're having problems
finding the previous post and responses it's because you are using the
web interface which is very poor. Search for your post with answers
using google groups search: http://groups.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en

In the future consider using a newsreader to access the newsgroup. XP
comes with one, Outlook Express. Here is a link with into on how to set

Having moved my PCs over 1700 miles by commericial rental moving truck,
Carey's links have the right idea. Something inevitably comes loose on the
innards. Wouldn't pull all that loose, just reseat all when arriving at
destination home.
12 miles by oxcart over rough, rocky road can do similar.
