Pasting Word doc in email changes display after emailing

I created a flyer Word doc on my office PC that contains background color and
special fonts. When I email to myself using my office PC the flyer displays
in Outlook, but when I forward to home machine and open with Outlook, the
colors and page layout are changed-no background color-everything left
aligned-no special characters or images.
