Pasting text from Word into PowerPoint

I need to paste several sections of text (Tahoma 10pt) from Word into
PowerPoint but when I do it resets the text to Arial 18 and removes the
bulleted points.

Any ideas?

It's probabaly becuase your ppt template is set up for Arial 18. Try changing
the text box on the master page (View/Master) to Tahoma 10p in a new ppt doc.
Save the file as pot (I suggest on your desktop of you're only going to use
it this one time). Open it, and then copy and paste your Word text.

Before you do this tho, see if you get a smart tag in ppt when you have
pasted your text (don't know which version ppt you're on). If you do, chose
Keep Original Format (can't remember the exact wording, but you'll figure it
out)

Hope that helps.

Hi Gezela,

Office 2003. Yes this helps. Have just fond the paste options thing and used
it to keep original format.

Thanks again.

James.
