password to expire??? help

Upon start up today I received a message box on my completed desktop as
followsas far as I can remember)
" Your password will expire in 14 days do you wish to change it now"

I selected "NO", but then I thought it may be a "bug" type message?????

Anyone familiar with this message in XP Pro ?
