Password for one folder possible?

Kate

As I am the only user of the computer normally, I haven`t bothered to
create a logon password. However, when my son-in-law comes to stay,
he uses the computer so I would like to create a password for a
specific folder. When I select folder Properties and check the "Make
this folder private" box, I am reminded that I do not have a User
password and am asked if I would like to create one. But when I
choose "Yes", the subsequent window leads me to believe that I shall
have to logon each time I start up - which I don`t need or want to do.
Can a password be created so that my son-in-law cannot open just this
one folder, please? I`m not saying he is nosy, but he might be
tempted!

Many thanks
Kate

No, not without third-party software. Anyway, what's so wrong with creating
a new account for him and putting a password on yours? Takes, oh, 3 seconds
longer, at most, to log in?
