Password Auto Change - Can't login

Good Day,

I restarted a computer, the password that was being used is no longer
being accepted by the login screen. My admin user account seems to not be
there as well. Apparently, according to the user who also had admin rights,
he didn't delete my admin account either.

How do I log back into the machine if neither account passwords work?

Thanks.

I've used this before with good results:
Reset Admin Password

1. Put the CD in and, when the option comes up to chose where to boot from
select a CD (F8 I think?)
2. Let setup inspect/load files and when it gets to the welcome screen press
enter to setup Windows now
3. Press F8 (accept) when the Licensing Agreement comes up
4. In the setup screen choose the repair option
5. Select your Windows installation (there should only be one?) and press R
6. Let repair run. Right after it copies files, it will reboot (happens
automatically) and when it is booting don’t press any key to boot from CD,
just leave it be it will do it automatically
7. When it is booting/repairing (can’t remember which) and you see the
“installing devices†progress bar on the lower left side of the screen, hold
shift and press F10 (security hole). A command prompt should open.
8. In the prompt type NUSRMGR.CPL and press enter. That should give you
graphical access to the user part of the control panel. Change passwords as
you need to and then close the windows and prompt and continue with the
repair. You will need your product key and have to enter it to finish
