cant login to admin account, help!

i went to change the admin user account, it accepted it, logged off then when
i tried to log back on, it didnt accept the password, now i am on a limited
user account and cant get back to the admin account. any suggestions?

login into to "hidden Administrator" account using F8 Safe Mode.

then fix your "admin account"!!

when i reboot hitting the F8 key, i go into regular safe mode? there are
several options that it gives you, i went to the regular safe mode but it
still asks for a user name and password. am i going under the right category?

should list "Administrator" and other admin accounts!!!
Use Administrator!!

If "Administrator" isn't there. press ctrl+alt+del twice!!
If administrator isn't listed, type over the existing username.
the "Administrator" account password is usually left blank. So just press
enter.

i do that but, when i press enter with just Administrator user name and
leaving the password blank, it still does not log in for me.
i try it again later.

Try pushing "Caps Lock" and entering your new password at the regular Login
screen.

I'm having this same problem. Upon restart it doesn't recognize the user
name and password I've set and I can't log in even using F8 safe mode. Safe
mode doesn't come up when I hit F8. I've tried the administrator name and no
password, the password that I set and the user name and password I've set.
I've even tried leaving both blank, which used to work, but doesn't anymore.
HELP! I can't log in at all now.
