Does anyone know of a freeware partition program that lets you resize
current partitions without affecting the data on the partition. Sort of
like Partition Magic. Thanks in advance for your help.

I've used Partition Resizer for some years now on several computers.
Limitation: Can only move, not resize NTFS.

I used to know a program called "Ranesh" ... maybe you can explore and
hopefully, it will help [for the future? ;-))]

I believe $inatra is referring to Ranish Partition Manager which can be
found here:

Does it "let you resize current partitions without affecting the data on
the partition"?

It can be used in a round about way by shuffling the data around.

The OP has not specified his system. A good resizer is Partition
Resizer by Zeleps.

http://www.zeleps.com

It can handle disks upto 2TB.

RTFM to know about the applicability to various flavors of OSes.
