Partition Magic SuperExpert help needed

While trying to copy my daughter's old hd to a new one I got PM all screwed
up (stupid mistake, gory details not necessary at this point) so that PM
reads her partitions all wrong. It does not read the various drives
correctly and reports the wrong file allocation system. So unfortunately I
cannot resize her partitions using PM for fear of losing data.

However, Windows XP has no problem reading the drives correctly and she uses
her computer with the new hd as before.
Is there any way to get PM to replace/renew it's partition info, e.g. with
the Windows partition info?

Forget partition majic,xp has its own transfer utility.1st,set the new drive
on same IDE chain as C: (set as slave),format the hd,run, type:diskmgmt.msc
In msc,R.click the new drive,format.Once thru,close out msc,go to run,type:
XCOPY C: \*.* D:\ /c/h/e/k/r Agree to all in the DOS window, once its thru
youre finished,C: is now on new drive. Also,D: being the new drive,if asigned
diffrent,then use that letter....

Andrew, thanks a bunch. I get it. One question though, the original hd was
partitioned drive C through drive I. How would I handle that? Would I
multiple partition the new drive with PM first or can I do that also in the
dos window?
