Partition Magic showing bad partition

Have been using Partition Magic 8 on a new system and have
the following problem.
PM reports both my installed drives as 'BAD'. The XP
storage manager see them ok and everything works OK.

Worried that at some point, XP will also report the
problem and I won't be able to boot. Powerquest not much
help, any suggestions?

If not I will probably do a clean install.

Try doing a CHKDSK on all partitions. Use the /R option, whihc checks the
whole disk, not just the data areas. This may take several hours, and must
be done during a reboot. That is, you request the CHKDSK within a Windows
XP command prompt, then when it offer to do it during the next reboot, say
yes. After all paritions are scheduled, reboot and leave the PC alone for a
while.
