partial connectivity in home network

hi
i have a home network with 2 computers, both xp home, both connected to a
netcomm adsl router, computer1 via ethernet cable, computer2 wireless. they
can both use the net ok, and on computer1 i'm able to browse both computers,
but on computer2 i can't - when i go to view workgroup computers, it only
shows itself, not computer1.

but i can ping each computer successfully from the other one.

so if i can successfully ping, and computer1 browses both computers fine,
any suggestions as to what might be preventing computer2 from being able to
see computer1 at all? i've tried turning off firewall and nortons on both
machines, but no luck

any info would be most appreciated

Check : Rt.click My Computer>Properties>General name tab>verify both have
same workgroup name.
