Parental Controls Error Message

I continue to have a problem with Vista. Whenever I try to change the
parental control option for my childrens' accounts to/from allowing access to
specific or all programs I get the following message "Unable to make changes
to parental control settings. If this problem persists see system
administrator." I am the system admin....

Hi Tim,

I have exactly the same problem, when I try to access parental controls as
an administrator there is a very brief flicker past another window (fractions
of a second visibility) then the message you see comes up.

Some people on other forums suggest enabling the default administrator
account to access and setup Parental control, however I tried this and was
not successfull.

There are quite a few entries on the web for this but no answer that seems
to work.

I'd hope MS would respond to this.
