paper tray for HP 4050

Hi all-

Had a student move the above mentioned printer for me. Kid has front
of printer facing him; he tilts printer, and paper tray falls out and
breaks. No big deal; until I tried to find one. My account manager
at CDW cannot find any from HP; they referred me to HP; who after 27
minutes on hold the rep told me they do not sell the complete tray.
Couple of printer repair places (that are HP authorized) can't find
one either. I don't need one for a 4050 since the 4000 and 4100 trays
work (and all appear to be the same to me) Anyone know where, or who,
might have one? I have no problems with used. Many thanks

BTW...this is not the addon 3rd tray that attaches at bottom of
printer...the internal 2nd tray

I sent an old HP to the boneyard last week, and I think it was a 4100.
I've emailed them to see if they can still lay their hands on it. Bear
with me, but I may be able to help you.

I'm very sure they have it in stock.
