Page setup has banner size?

Ok I have asked this before but no good answers yet.
In Power Point 2003 there is a banner size option, What for?
Was it created to help people make animated gifs for their websites?
If not where would I use it?
heres how to get to the choice.
File>Page Setup>Slides sized for:Banner Width 8" Height 1"

Possibly, though PPT wouldn't save as animated gifs. You could save a series
of pages then use an animation program to turn them into one anigif, I imagine.

PowerPoint GIFfeth, PowerPoint taketh it not away, but neither doth it take it
further than that. (Heh. Try'n read that three timeth fatht without thounding
like Elmer Fudd)

If not where would I use it?

Some printers may allow you to scale output at this size to banners using roll
paper.
