Page can not be displayed errors.

Brad Goldman

To whom ever can help me with this issue. I am having
problems going to sites like Monster.com, yahoo.com,
espn.com. I am getting a lot of page can not be displayed
problems.

I am using operating System: Windows 2000 and using the
Internet Explorer 6.0 browser. I have ran a fix,
deinstalled/reinstalled. I have reinstalled java. I have
cleared the cache, cookies and cleared the history. I have
run Adware 6.0, Norton utilities and spyware software
remover. I verified all the patches have been installed
and norton antivirus has been up to date and scanned.

Anymore things I can try? I have problems going to simple
sites like monster.com and espn.com. The pages dont
display or come up hard to read.

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this problem for
me. I am just hoping I dont need to format and start over.

Symtom: Page cannot be displayed / Cannot find server or DNS Error

In the event you can not access a site and you believe it
may be due to an entry in the HOSTS file.

You can use a simple batch file to rename the HOSTS file "on-the-fly".
