This is the way it works. Each photo is one file.
Maybe you want each group of photos to be in a separate folder. You have a
folder "My Pictures". Double click on this folder name to open it. Click on
File on your top bar. A menu will open. Click on New. A list will open.
Click on Folder. A textbox will open with the name New Folder highlighted in
blue. Click in the box and type in a name to replace New folder. Type
something like the year and month and the event about the photos with
underline in between, something like:
2004_09_Vacation
Now download your photos. When you download, you select My Pictures and then
2004_09_Vacation folder as the destination you want for the files to be
saved in. Your eight pictures will now be eight files in this folder and
easy to get to.

firstly when I do manage to get photos copies over they are all going into
individual files and not just one file. So if I have eight pictures to copy
its copying eight files.
