How do I get devices plugged into this motherboard to be recognized as
usb2.0 devices. When I plug in my card reader, I get the error "a hi-speed
usb device is plugged into a non-high speed hub" I have downloaded the
latest drivers from asus. I am running WinXP Pro, clean install on a p4 2.53
with 512 meg of ram. I am plugging the device into the hub on the mother
board. Is there a jumper or setting in the bios I need to change or enable.
I am not using the riser card with two usb ports or the front ports. I have
bios version 1004 10/04/2002 My cables to the reader are usb2.0 certified.

Did you install Windows XP SP1? And is there actually an entry showing up in
Device Manager for the USB controllers with "enhanced" in it?

I had a similar problem, one of the built in ports did exactly the same thing.
So I pluged in a usb 1.1 device there. The other ports seem ok..
