P4P800 Bios version?

I just bought a P4P800 and performed a BIOS update with AFUDOS to 1014.
When it boots is shows 08.00.09 in the system information pulldown in the
BIOS for AMI BIOS version. I have tried resetting the setting to default
before and after doing an update and tried using the asupdate utility under
windows. The asupdate utility indicates that I am at 1014 but the boot up
does not. Any suggestions?

The 08.00.09 refers to a chip, not the bios version. I know it is
misleading. If your other indications are that you have 1014 installed,
disregard the 08.00.09, as this has no relationship to the actual bios
version you have flashed on the chip.

my bad; I finally was able to see the screen after the AI splash screen and
saw the 1014 version.
