P4P800 1010 Bios Anomal

I've flashed by P4P800 Deluxe to Bios version 1010 using a dos boot disk and
the afudos utility yet when I check the system bios it is listed as version
080009 within the bios as well as with utilities such as Sisoft Sandra or
CPU-Z. The date of this bios is 8/20/2003.

Everything works fine, so I'm not overly concerned, just curious if anyone
else has this same situation.

i have the same situation.the system works fine.....

There is a bug in it though -- if you select resume from standby using just
the space key, any key will resume it from standby.

I flashed from v080009 to v1010 this afternoon with AFUDOS and had the
same problem. The boot process is so quick I couldn't read the
details, so I shot a video as it booted in order to read it one frame
at a time. As the system boots, the screen reads BIOS version 1010.
So far everything seems normal, except for the utilities listing the
prior version and date. I read every faq on the tech support pages
and if Asus addresses this, I sure didn't see it.
