P4C800E Deluxe in Antec SX1040B II Case

Peter

I'm trying to mount a P4C800E Deluxe motherboard in an Antec SC1040B II
Case. The various connectors on the rear edge of the board (USB,
keyboard, mouse, etc.) do not seem to line up exactly with the openings on
the rear of the Antec case.

1. For those of you who have used this combination of mobo and case ...
am I doing something wrong (this is my first time) or do I need a
different panel for the back of the case?

2. If I need a different panel, where do I get it? Antec? Asus? Other?

Thanx.

Peter,
The proper I/O panel came with my P4C800-E Delux mobo package. I just
had to pop out the one that come with my Antic PlusView case and press
in the new that came with the mobo. If not encluded you will have to
get from mobo manufacturer.

Thanks for the reply. About 5 minutes after posting my original message I
discovered the correct I/O panel was included in my P4C800E Deluxe box.

You may also want to test your front USB connectors. Mine were not USB2.0
which I needed. I dropped an email to the Antec company and the send me a
replacement USB port which works with 2.0.
