OWA LogOff Deletes all the session cookies in IE

It looks like OWA LogOff(Signoff) deltes all the session
cookies. Ideally, OWA should delete only its cookies.

The problem happens as follows

1) Open a IE browser instance and login into some web
applications which uses session cookies. For example,
Squirrelmail and then change the URL location to
http://owa.abcd.com/Exchange and login into OWA
2) Click on the SignOff Button
3) Now, go back to the squirrelmail and click on any links.
4) You get a Error message. This is because, the session
cookeis are deleted when we do a OWA Signoff.

Shouldn't OWA delete only its cookies. ?

What's an OWA?

Outlook Web Access - access to mailbox on Exchange server through a web page
that looks similar to Outlook application itself.

However - this is really NTG - not this group.
