Overtype (doublestrike) a 0 (zero) with a /

cforbes,

There is a reasonable likeness that can be quickly
inserted using CTRL+/ the SHIFT+O

or

an EQ field to overstrike 0 (zero) with / would be
constructed as:

{ EQ \o (0,/) } with the field code brackets { } entered
with CTRL+F9

-----Original Message-----
I want to be able to put a / through a 0 (zero) to make
the electrical symbol for PHASE. I used to know how to do
this many years ago but don't seem to be able to now.
Does anyone know how?

As others have posted, what cforbes appears to be looking for is a Greek
phi, which can be found either in the Symbol font (capital at 70, lowercase
at 102) or in most Unicode fonts ("normal text") at 03A6 and 03C6. Or you
can use 00D8 or 00F8 (Ø or ø) in "normal text."

Suzanne,

You could be right. He asked for a zero with a slash
through it. That is what he gets with the EQ field. :)

Yes, and I was going to post that solution myself till I saw the other
replies, and it did seem much more likely to me that the symbol for "phase"
would be a phi rather than a slashed zero.
