Output to Excel

paul bray

Hello,

I have just upgraded to Access 2000 and when I try to
output a query with 19000 records in it, I get the
following:

run-time error '2306'

"There are too many rows to output, based on the
limitation specified by the output format or by 'My Access
Database Name'"

Any help would be appreciated!

Cheers,

Hi Paul,

how are you outputting to Excel? If you are doing it
manually are you choosing the latest version of Excel (if
possible)? Excel does have a limit to the number of rows
in a worksheet and if the ISAM driver (converter) you are
using is an early version then you may be exceeding the
limit of rows allowed. Can you output less rows as a
test - say 1000 or so?

Chas,

I am using the latest version of Excel, but don't seem
able to output more than 10 000 records? I used to be able
to before I upgraded??

Your help is much appreciated!

Cheers,
