Outlook2003: HELP!! needed on DEFAULT Accounts

Our company has two email accounts. One for DCC and the other for WF (a
trade name for DCC). So we get email addressed to @DCC.com or @WF.com. The
problem is that when we hit reply to a received WF email, OUTLOOK uses the
default @DCC.com to send from. This confuses our customers and then they ask
“who is DCC? I thought you were WF.â€

Is there an add-on that will allow us to manage the accounts so we don’t
REPLY with such trgger-happy fingers such that OUTLOOK could give us a pop-up
like “Are you sure you are using the right email account before SENDING?â€
Its not just on the REPLYs though. The DCC is the default and sometimes we
are in such a hurry to get an email out that we do it so fast that we forget
to select the WF account and it mistakenly goes out with a DCC signature and
logo.

I hope I am explaining this well enough. We have STOP signs taped to the
corner of our monitors and it still isn’t good enough. For the REPLIES, cant
OUTLOOK somehow recognize the @WF.com and automatically pull that account
when REPLYING instead of the default DCC account?

There must be some fix for this… A pop-up dialog box would be the trick if
one popped up before any message could be sent we would have to hit “OKâ€.
Something like that.

I am going batty here as is the rest of our company. Nice to have multiple
accounts but the onus is on the user to be sure the correct account is being
used to send from. This WIDELY opens up the chance for USER ERROR which is
too great a risk for us... as we have well found out!!!

HELP HELP HELP us to manage this better, please!

Thanks for helping us out. Best --jp

What type of account? Normally, Outlook replies using the account with
which the message was received. Just to make sure, add the Account field to
the header line using Field Chooser.
