Outlook won't start

Outlook msg window opens when tring to start. Cannot start Microsoft Outlook
Outlook requires Express 4.01 or higher.....continues with find ie5setup on
CD. I tried that and got a msg saying a more recent version is installed. So
I went to Microsoft download and found 6.0 it too says it is and older
version and won't install. I am running xp and received Outlook from a
Microsofe Office xp disk.

Hi,
so why dont you deinstall the old version of internet explorer (included
Outlook Express) from the control panel | software?
