Outlook Web Access

I need to export a large batch of emails from Outlook Web Access into Outlook
so that I can then export the emails onto a flash drive. I want to keep the
integrity of the searching capability so that everything can be searched by
date or by the person it's from.... I know in Outlook you export (by clicking
on file/export/import and follow the prompts) to your desktop as a pst file
and you can then import them back into Outlook to view. My question is when
I'm in Outlook Web Access I am unable to figure out where to click to export
the emails as .pst files? Can someone direct me to where I start the process.
I thought I would need to go to file drop down and choose import/export like
in Outlook. Am I missing a toolbar? thanks for any assistance you can give.

You can't export from OWA. But, it's just a view into your mailbox on the
Exchange server. Why can't you just connect to Exchange with Outlook?

To be honest, I'm not very tech savvy. Would connecting mean going to
http://exchange.1and1.com? If so, that is where I am logged in. I hope I got
your meaning? If not, would you mind explaining how I connect? Sorry for the
naivity.

I believe that when you get Exchange connectivity on 1and1 so that you'd be
able to use OWA, you also get the ability to use Outlook 2003 to connect,
but you may need to contact 1and.com's help desk to find out.

Regardless, OWA can't export mail. There will be another way to access your
mail, either via POP3, IMAP or through Exchange/Outlook.
