Outlook should let me drag & drop into a shortcut

Outlook 2000 had the capability to create shortcuts to my network drives so I
could drag and drop emails directly into the network drive. Our entire
office staff used this feature. This is a major down fall of the new outlook
It now takes me much longer to file my messages.

I never used that anyway - you do know that you can resize your windows so
that you can see Explorer & Outlook at the same time, select the messages
you want, drag to the folder on the file system you wish, release?

I know this is a possability it was just much more convenient when I could do
it all in Outlook. I do this continuously throughout the day for hundreds of
emails everyday. Your suggestion is what i am currently doing but it was
much quicker when I could do it all from Outlook. Thanks for the obvious.
