Outlook should let me choose to unblock attachments

Having recently upgraded to Outlook 2003, I am now considering going back to
an older version. Why? It automatically blocks numerous common attachments
without giving me the option of chosing to unblock attachments I know to be
safe. For example, I sent several links from work to my home address. As
url's Outlook blocked them and won't let me at them. I know they are safe.
I sent them. Why can't I CHOOSE to unblock them.

I was upset about this too :( I tried what it suggested, editing the
registry, and it worked. I tested it by sending an email to myself with a
word document attached, and I was able to see the attachment and open it,
when before the only evidence of an attachment was the info bar saying it had
blocked it. However, it seems to only work with new emails. Emails that
were previously sent probably need to be resent.
