Outlook runs multiple times in task manager processes

If I open outlook2002 and check my email then close it, I have to go to
proceses in the task manager to unload it. If I open it without going to
task manager processes to end it and open it 4 times before I restart, it
will be in the processes 4 times. And when I shut down or restart I get the
end program prompt as many times as outlook 2002 is open. Why won't
outlook2002 not really close when I exit the program each time.

You will need to look for a 3rd party program (e.g. WinFax, ActiveSync, ICQ,
..etc) that is holding open sessions to the application.
