Outlook question

Norvin

I have a problem with Outlook and it is not installed on my system. With
my system idle and at the desktop I get the following message -

“Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client
cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and
set it as the default mail client.”

Since I have never installed outlook I am at a lost why this comes up.
It will even show up when I am on the internet such as now when it did
it again. I have tried to locate the file causing this but no luck yet.
Any help or suggestion would be appreciated greatly.

Control Panel->INternet Options->Programs tab - what do you show for the default mail client? ALso, under Add/Remove programs, do you show any Microsoft Office products?

It shows Seamonkey since that is what I am using. I use various MS
office products, word, works, excel and have never had a problem until
recently but trying to locate what is generating the error message has
me in a tizze scratching my head.
