Outlook Problem

I am using Win XP Prof and Office xp Prof. When my personal pst file size is
near 2 GB my outlook creates problems.

The receipent will receive the email from me but it does not clear from my
outbox. I cannot delete the emails lying in my outbox manually. All my
incoming emails are stopped. I tried detect and repair option also but did
not workout.

I checked the pst files in the outlook data folder and observed that the pst
file size on all occassion of such problem it is near 2 GB in size.

Then I have to create a new personal folder pst file to bring the outlook
back to normal. This has happened more than 3 times now.

Any solution for this problem?

Outlook prior to 2003 version has a size limitation for the pst
Either use the archive options or update to a later version using unicode
format pst

I get a message stating that the system admin should be contacted to change
the setting.I am using vista home and am not sure what setting I should
change.
Any ideas?
