Hi,
I m using office 2007 n outlook. In my outlook data folder the PST file is
showing 5 GB. I deleted many emails and attachments but still it is showing
the same file size. I even cleared from the deleted folder. What may be the
problem? Please respond. Thanks n best regards.

You have to compact the PST file if you wish to reclaim the freed space.
(In folder tree, right click on Personal Folders and select properties,
advanced button, then compact. This process takes a while if you removed a
lot of content.)

There is probably no problem at all. The background .pst compacting routine
probably just hasn't had an opportunity to run yet. You can force compaction
through the Properties dialog for the .pst file's root folder; click Advanced.
