You don't use anything and never found the need to? Wow! Do you use your
computer? I supposed you don't use a firewall or anything to help keep your
computer or network safe either?
Personally I have to run to Norton AV, Ad-Aware, and Spybot. I also use
HijackThis to solve other little problems. Really, I don't understand how
you can use your computer online and download and install different programs
that you need for certain tasks and never need some sort of protection.
That's like being a police officer but never wearing a vest.

Windows Uninstaller Utility - What that does is remove any information put
in your system by the Windows Installer Technology that was not removed by
the Uninstall.
True, but in this scenario I was not able to uninstall the program at all
because the install information was corrupted. So it had to be removed using
the Windows Uninstaller Utility, then the program had to be resintalled or it
would not ever be able to uninstall if I wanted to do that.

I'd say your right. Either Mcafee Virusscan or Norton Anitvirus, or
installing and uninstalling the trials for both somewhere caused this problem.

Okay, this is kind of funny.
There are tons of problems in windows caused by the things you install and
uninstall. That's why I asked you if you ever used your computer.

I don't know. Main thing here is WHO DOES?
So if you have a good program, I'm pretty sure you'll find some kind of
problem some where in the registry. There is always left-over garbage in the
registry. So I get what your saying there, but that's probably why they are
selling so many of those programs too.
Have you ever looked in the Windows Registry? It shows almost every darn
program you have ever installed, because most of the programs out there don't
know how to remove the tracks they leave behind. That's probably why that
other guy wanted to buy a new computer. LOL. Less headache and probably
just wanted a faster computer. Kind of funny though. Hope he backs up his
information and formats his drive before he gets rid of the old computer.

Thanks! I am too! Those updates for some reason likes to change a registry
value that allows me to save pictures as a .jpg in Paint. Haven't had any
other problem that I can remember or notice.
Hopefully someone will read all this and benefit some how. These groups are
