Outlook not opening when emailing photos

When I select 'Email this file' in windows viewer, I get the 'Send pictures
via email' resize choice. I select 'Make all my pictures smaller' and click
ok. A box behind (send mail) seems to do somethng, but I do not get an
email window open up in Outlook. Where is my attachment going??!! and how
can i get it to open up an outlook email?

Are you using Outlook or Outlook Express?

If you open an IE window and go to...
Tools / Internet Options / Programs...
what is listed in the E-mail field?

Thank you, John! i have been hunting all over trying to get mine to work and
show my contacts list for emailing. Thanks again!

G'Day John, I've got exactely the same problem. I have recently upgraded to
Windows x64 with Outlook 2007. It will run the resizing wizard but won't open
Outlook. I have checked in the options that Outlook is selected as the
default email client and have also changed it to express and back again to
make sure the registry is updated correctly. I have looked up the "mailto:"
address in the registery and it is correct. I have also tried clicking on
hyperlinks for emails in webpages and Outlook opens up everytime. Any ideas
on where to goto from here?
