Outlook Large Mail folder

When users receive a new email with a large attachment the mail is duplicated
in the Large Email folder. However, when the mail is deleted from the Large
Mail Folder it is also deleted from the Inbox, Is there anyway the mail can
be deleted from the Large Mail folder without also deleting ot from the Inbox.

Also, does the duplication mean the users space quota is affected?

No duplication is involved. Depending on your Outlook version and configuration, Large Mail is either another folder in the Exchange mailbox or a search folder, which is a virtual folder that shows items that meet specific criteria. From your description, it sounds like you're referring to a search folder. Deleting an item from a search folder deletes the original item, moving it to the Deleted Items folder or permanently, depending on how you do the deletion.

In other words, if you want the item to remain in the Inbox, don't delete it.

If you have Outlook 2003 or 2007, it's under the Search Folders folder. Other
versions don't have Search folders. If you have 2003 or 2007 and do not have
the Large Mail search folder, then it's easy to create by right-clicking
Search Folders and selecting New Search Folder.
