Outlook indicates I have three undread messages

When I am at the point where I log into Windows XP, it keeps on telling me I
have three unread messages. I have three e-mail accounts setup through
outlook.

I recently checked my e-mail accounts via webmail. It indicates that there
are no messages.

How can I fix the message that I have three unread messges when it is
actually zero?
