Outlook immediately quits

I just purchased a new laptop and loaded Office XP. All the Office
applications work except Outlook. It will open, then immediately quit.

I reviewed Q290231 and attempted to make changes in my registry but that
didn't fix the problem. I tried creating a new profile and that didn't fix
it either. I tried launching outlook.exe /safe, but that didn't work either.

Help!
