Uninstalled 2007 reinstalled 2003 opens in safe mode

Running Vista, installed Office 2007 which upgraded my 2003. Didn't like
several outlook changes. Uninstalled 2007 and reinstalled 2003. Now Outlook
on first attempt will not open then 2nd attempt opens in safe mode. Havwe
reviewed several previous questions listed to no avail.

What have you tried so far?
I'd start with with resetting outcmd.dat and extend.dat to make sure any
installed add-in is not confused because of the downgrade.

Just found a similar post "reverting from 2007" mentioning changing
extend.dat
frmcache.dat
views.dat
outcmd.dat

but I don't know where to find them. Not very familiar with Vista search...
put in OUT tried looking in C drive nothing then in Office found some
outxxx.dats, know i'm not looking in the right places.

fortunately told me my where to find those files in Vista. You guys are
