Outlook going offline for unknown reason

We are in the process of converting all of our users to work in Cached mode
(Outlook 2003 with Exchange 2003 all patches).

We are getting a number of calls from users who's Outlook has gone offline
for no apparent reason.

I just spoke with someone who shut their computer down last night and then
came in this morning and turned it on. The call was that she wasn't getting
any free/busy info when creating an appointment. The reason was that she was
offline. She did not configure it to work offline. She has not had her
computer on off the network.

What's up?

Network connectivity/DNS problems going on, perchance? If Outlook couldn't
connect once, it would do this....thinking you didn't want to
connect/couldn't.
