Outlook Form Used in Contacts, not Displayed in Search

We have a customised form we use with all our Contacts,
in Outlook 2003.

I have just noticed today that if I look for and open a
Contact with all contacts displayed (E.g. by typing the
first few letters of the File as), the form is displayed
fine with our data in it.

However, if I click on the Find button on the Standard
toolbar, then do a search using the Look for: box on the
toolbar displayed, the form will not be displayed for any
of the Contacts I open. The only tabs & forms are the
standard Outlook ones.

If I Clear the Find, then open any Contact the form
displays just fine.

The results are not so consistent for the Options |
Advanced find - some seem OK, some don't display the
form. I can't see the pattern on this one.

What the??? Why is the form not being displayed if I use
the Look for?

An afterthought - I have used Omsgclas to ensure that the
right form is 'assigned' to each item.

Known problem. One solution apparently is to publish the form to Personal
Forms or Organizational Forms instead of to the folder forms library.
