Outlook express

Teresa

Hello there. I hope you can help. We have just purchased
a computer from gateway and I am unable to read my mail
on outlook express. The gateway tech. walked me through
the disabling process of the windows messenger, but I am
still unable to retrieve my email. It tells me that my
pop server is unable to receive my mail. I did not have a
problem on my old pc and now have been forced to use AOL
as a mail service. I do not want to do this and am only
doing it for 6 months because they are free months. I
called your tech. number, but was told to pay $35 if I
wanted any help. I would appreciate it if you could just
tell me how to either remove this from the pc or how to
disable it another way, because the way gateway told me
how to do is not working. Thank you..............Teresa

Greetings Teresa,

Messenger has nothing to do with this, and unfortunately, you can't use Outlook Express to
read AOL mail, you will need to use the AOL software or AOL's website (http://www.aol.com).

If you need more help with this, call AOL -- 1-800-827-6364.
