Running XP pro and outlook express. everytime I reboot the pc the mail server
setting for the incoming mail server changes to the loopback address of
127.0.0.1 I can change it and it will stay until I reboot again then right to
127.0.0.1 and only for the incoming mail server entry.
Anyone seen this??
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Tom

That's usually an indication that some anti-virus software is changing it so
it scan incoming/outgoing mail

Wrong forum for OE, but that setting is usually caused by your antivirus
software--especially Norton.

1) Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup like
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general
2) Disable the mail integration feature of your antivirus program. That's
what's causing it.
