Outlook Express can set as default

Barry Golten

Since some changes in my computer recently - I can't set OUtlook Express as
my default email.

Althoug it works fine at picking up and sending mail - I can no longer -
right click on a photo and select send to then mail recipient and send fropm
outloo express. If I try to change it in Tools / Options it changes then
goes straight back. If I go to Interner options/ Programs. The email bit is
blank.

Any ideas

Bary,

Restore OE to E-mail Clients List:

Then type REGSVR32 SENDMAIL in the RUN box.

Go to Start | Run and type the following:
"C:\PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\MSIMN.EXE" /reg
(Check the path to msimn.exe to make sure that is correct)

(Copy and paste the line in it's entirety to make sure it is correct.)

Then open Internet Explorer and go to Tools | Internet Options |
Programs and set OE as the default mail (and news) program.
